Tarot Forecast for 2025

Every January we enjoy drawing a tarot or rune forecast for the year ahead. In our Spider Threads program, each participant does this for themselves and records the information in their journal to refer to throughout the year. In 2024, we recorded a bonus episode for our Way of the Weaver podcast in which we drew a 12-month community forecast to share with our listeners. We loved being able to reference these cards and allies each month, discovering how their energies unfolded in our lives as well as the world at large, so we decided to make it an annual tradition! For the year 2025, our query was twofold:

What energy will we be facing each month of this year?
What energy could we embody to navigate through this smoothly?

For the first question, both Murphy and Jamie drew from Rider Waite Smith tarot decks. Murphy used their classic RWS deck; Jamie used the Tarot of the Pagan Otherworlds (which is based on the RWS). For the second question, Murphy drew a rune; Jamie drew an ally card from Begin: An Oracle Deck.
